Having Fun At School
It’s been a while since I’ve had an update about SJC/WPHS classes and what’s better than a photo update?
Last week I snapped some photos in Rally-O class and Canine Enrichment Games class–both classes were small due to three fantastic doggie events being held at the same time around the city which gave me a chance to take some pictures!
Rally O class was all about learning various turns, calling front, and finishing left and right. It left handlers a bit dizzy and lots but they had fun nonetheless!

Gracie’s mom concentrates hard on doing a 270 to the left–it’s not an easy one to learn that’s for sure!
Canine Enrichment Games had the students’ brains working at max capacity! Each dog got to try out 6 different training puzzle games! It was interesting watching how each pup went about figuring out the puzzles. It was also really interesting watching the dogs find puzzles they quickly figured out and then how they worked through puzzles that, for whatever reason, they found challenging.
Hazel works hard to figure out how to reliably get the plastic cups out of this puzzle to reveal the kibble.
Hank was being a bit lazy when playing with this puzzle, instead of spinning it around, he laid down and just tried to lick out all the kibble!
This is a relatively easy puzzle but brainiac Hank really struggled with this one because he could lick the kibble through the small openings.
After practicing with all the other games, Hazel finished up with the most challenging puzzle–she did a nice job figuring out the first step. All the confidence building of the previous easier puzzled helped her gain skills to conquer this one!
The Canine Enrichment Games class will start again in mid July and again in early August if you are interested in joining the fun!
