A few days ago I was shocked to find that fellow pet blogger Tail Waggin had passed along the “Stylish Blogger Award” it’s a nice bit of positive reinforcement for sure!
So I’m sort of “late” in the game and many of the blogs I follow already have this award but part of the rules is I have to nominate 15 blogs that I follow for this award. I figure it’s like an “Oscar” and it can’t hurt to get more than one! I also have to tell you 7 things about me (which will turn into 7 new things about the dogs LOL).

Now… 7 things about the dogs… and me
1. Rio likes to roll in stinky things… some of his favorites are coyote poop, cat vomit, and dead animals.
2. Rio sleeps (when he does) in some of the most entertaining positions… paw over his face, on his back spread eagle, half off the bed, curled in a tiny ball, head turned the wrong way .. etc
3. Shayne loves to destroy sticks…
4. Shayne has a “funny foot” … we aren’t sure if it’s a genetic deformity or was caused by injury–the x-rays were inconclusive. It will eventual cause her some problems but until then, she makes it work!
5. Rio has been known to climb trees to get squirrels… and will run from tree to tree when I say “Rio! Where do squirrels live?”
6. Shayne is essentially a garbage disposal. She will eat anything and everything… only thing she’s ever turned her nose up to is a pickle.
7. And last, but not least…. Rio and Shayne are raw fed. Before raw feeding I had major issues touching raw meat… it really grossed me out… not so much anymore 🙂

Thanks for the nom. 🙂 I am also like you. I couldn’t even make a meatloaf when my mother was trying to teach me. I made her mush it all together. Lol Now it’s like meat? Psht, lets go take a bath in it… okay… that might be a bit much. But I’m sure you know what I mean. LOL

And congratulations to you as well! I love reading your blog as you always have such interesting comments to make on training techniques. I’ve always wanted to get into disc dog but my throwing arm kind of sucks. Once again, my dog proves to be much more suited than I to sports. Anyway, I love reading about everything you are involved in. Rio is hilarious in that tree shot. I don’t know if Shayne and my dog would get along very well, they would be too busy fighting over that tiny grain of rice on the floor. 😛 Shiva will even eat pickles.
