Group Classes

Our group classes are not just like any other group class you’ve attended!  Class size matters, so we keep our classes between 4 and 8 dogs. Our basic manners instructors are all certified professional dog trainers and our sport instructors are either judges or successful competitors in that sport.

Please visit our COVID Policy page for the most up to date information regarding our safety policies.

What if a class I want isn't available?

There are two reasons a class won’t be listed on our website:

Some of our classes like agility prep, keep cool reactive dogs, and rally aren’t available every session.

Some classes fill very quickly (class sizes are small 4-9 dogs) and even though they are available every session, you need to sign up as soon as the newsletter comes out.

We release a new session of classes approximately every 6 – 8 weeks. If a class you want isn’t available make sure you are on our newsletter list!

Vaccine and Health Requirements

The health and safety of all of our canine students is of the utmost importance. We utilize veterinary grade disinfectants  in our cleaning protocols and also have strict vaccine requirements.

ALL dogs must be up to date on Parvo and Distemper vaccinations. Dogs over 14 weeks old at the start class need to also be up to date on rabies vaccines (puppies too young for rabies vaccine will get it during class).

We also request a clean fecal test or proof of recent worming for puppies who are more likely to have potty accidents and have direct play time contact.

How do I register for classes?

We do not require a separate orientation, nearly all of our classes have week 1 as an orientation, so you can go to the register for class tab to see what classes are coming up on the schedule and register.

We highly recommend signing up for our newsletter if you are interested in class. Our classes are released to the newsletter subscribers first, so current, past, and future students get first chance at classes.

The classes that remain unfilled are then opened to the public on our website.

Vaccine and health requirements?

The health and safety of all of our canine students is of the utmost importance.  We require proof of being up to date on vaccines for all dogs.

Dogs over 16wks old must be up to date on parvo, distemper, and rabies vaccines. (Titers for parvo/distemper accepted if they’ve had full puppy vaccine series.

Puppies under 16weeks must show proof of at least 1 round of parvo and distemper vaccine and must continue to get boosters at vet recommended intervals until fully vaccinated.Puppies who start class too young for rabies vaccine, must get it by the time they are 16weeks old

For puppy classes, we also request a clean fecal test (within 2 months) or proof of recent worming (within 1 month). We work hard to keep our center and the grounds around it free from parasites to provide a safe place for puppies to come play.

How to register and prerequisites

We do not require any sort of assessment or initial consultation prior to signing up for a group class. As long as your pup meets the prerequisites for the class, you can join!

Nearly all of our classes have week 1 as a humans-only orientation, so you can go to the register for class tab to see what classes are coming up on the schedule and register.
