*We’ll guide you on creating a routine for your new dog to prevent problems, ensure your dog is getting enough exercise, enrichment, and most important, sleep!

*We’ll help you integrate your new dog into your home and your life successfully (it’s easy to cause problems with improper introductions and acclimation to their new environment)

*We’ll give you answers on whether your new dog’s behavior is normal–yes it’s normal even for house trained dogs to have accidents in a new home.

*We’ll give you strategies for new dog things like crate training, comfort with separation, basic manners, and setting fair boundaries.

*We’ll give you strategies to improve basic challenges that are popping up–jumping on guests, stealing tissues, pulling on walks,

This session is not appropriate for dogs who already have behavioral troubles like fear, reactivity, aggression. For issues beyond just acclimating a new dog, you need to do a full Initial Consultation.
